royal me up

so unless you have been under a massive silly rock you will know that royal wedding insanity is gripping the world, and no more so than in my head, I'm so excited i might burst red white and blue glitter, i love a bit of traditional English pomp and ceremony and love the real life history that i will be watching.. but ultimately i guess I'm more excited about the dress and all the hats. and to feel more part of it this week i made myself a cushion from an old tea towel i found, yeah its not a wedding one, but hey, its got a crown on it.. and talking of crowns, i thought it was only correct to make sure i was wearing one whilst i watched the wedding on the TV..

soft and squishy

so not only is my big wobbly belly soft and squishy, so are these new kids quilts i have just made for an Easter fair I'm doing this weekend, i really like making them, i just hope people like buying them...

my favorite places

nearly a year ago i left London and changed my life by moving hundreds of miles away, and one of the main reasons i drove 8 hours north was to have daily views like this.. and you can guarantee that i can be found around these views at least 3-4 times a week, views like this a free visual therapy and just make me smile.. and i can honestly say 100% that i don't miss that horrible stinky big city one bit...

dress making machine

I'm a dress making machine at the moment, as i have a few fairs coming up and a few shops to keep stocked, god knows how ill keep my own website up and running when i finally get around to doing that.. but here are a few pics of what i just sent off to their new home in carry me home...

i love these

so the shop i used to work in, down in stinky London town, carry me home, has just got in some amazing new stock, and i bloody love these lights, red London buses and traditional English telephone boxes.. don't they look brilliant all lit up.. i want some.. wonder if my staff discount still works ?

and now that the sunny sunshine has started to show his happy face more often, how appropriate is this super cute baby outfit/body suit/romper or whatever you wanna call it ?.. either way its quite brilliant..

in a circus

i got this book of etsy a few days ago and look at the fab illustrations, circus is my fave word to search for in etsy, its amazing what treats can be found... if only i had the financial means to indulge in this drug more... but this little thing will do for now. i shall display it proudly... it was love at first sight...
